During my transit in Edinburgh, I stayed at Altido Heart Of Edinburgh Gem. The location of the hotel was an absolute convenience for me, as it was situated just 1000 meters away from Edinburgh Waverley, the nearest train station. the hotel's proximity to the airport, which was only 15 km away, made my travel arrangements incredibly easy.
There were a few minor drawbacks during my stay. The check-in time was initially communicated as 3 PM, but upon arrival, I was informed that it was actually at 4 PM. This miscommunication caused a slight inconvenience as it resulted in a wasted hour in the car, limiting my time for sightseeing or exploration.

The apartment was very spacious and child-friendly, with plenty of toys for the little ones to enjoy. The beds were comfortable and the lounge area provided ample seating. The location was convenient, with a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby. It was also centrally located, making it easy to access tourist attractions and the train station. In terms of facilities, there were some minor housekeeping issues, but overall the apartment was well-appointed. Communication from the owner was excellent, providing helpful information throughout our stay.
The carbon monoxide detector in one of the bedrooms had a low battery, resulting in a constant beeping noise which was quite annoying.

The apartment was in a great spot, right in the heart of the city. We could easily walk to all the main tourist spots and there were plenty of bars and restaurants close by. The beds were really comfy and we all had a good night's sleep. Plus, the owner was really helpful and provided us with lots of information about the area.
There were a few issues with the apartment that could have been better. it wasn't as clean as we would have liked, especially the carpets.
